Jana! Thank you for the comment. I am so sorry it has taken me a few days to respond. We had a massive monsoon storm on Thursday and the front room of my house flooded! We have been dealing with the dirty, wet, and muddy aftereffects for days. This week's post will revolve around this story.
Tell me more about "keenager"? Why keen...which I love by the way...
Oh I am so sorry about your home!! What a mess! Hope everything works out. Well, of course, "Keenager" is a play on the word 'Teenager". Teen basically meaning you have a 1 in front of your age. But I have always thought being considered "keen" would be wonderful trait to have.! "She has a Keen eye for detail" It suggests enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to learn. Now that we are in our middle 60's, many of us are empty nesters, have grandchildren to enjoy and the time and health to explore new ideas and experiences! ps to you personally. How is sweet Kathy doing? I will keep her on my prayer list.
Another reader private messaged me with the following: " I don't think one term will work for everyone. I suggest we keep it to decades. Sixty-somethings, Seventy-somethings, Eighty-somethings and so on".
Ha! A reader suggested "wiseanger", but I think it may be too close to wiseacre? (Or maybe that is appropriate? :)
Keenagers?

My friend Annabel posted on my FB page "I am calling myself a baby old person--but that is a bit clunky".
